REVIEW! Mane N Tail The Original Shampoo and Conditioner

Image
As I tend to rave to everyone and their dog about this line of haircare I thought I would compile my thoughts in a blog post (after two years of no posting – oops!).  I first heard about Mane N Tail from Cosmetics Charlotte on YouTube (Now called CharlottesChance). I immediately ordered the “original” shampoo and conditioner from Amazon to see the results for myself.   From the first wash I was hooked; my hair has never felt so soft and manageable; my unruly curly hair became much easier to style, whether I left it to dry naturally or used a hairdryer. I try to make sure that I don’t use them more than once a week as I am worried that my hair will get used to them and I often take breaks between repurchasing them as I know once I use it in my hair again, I will feel the effects more intensely. The added benefit is definitely the hair growth – if you’re in the market for a product to do this them make sure you purchase a set as I have tried many products claiming to stimulate

Liz Earle Botanical Essence Eau De Parfum no.15 After receiving a sample of this perfume with my purchase of the Cleanse and Polish I knew I had to purchase the full size 50ml version, as I had never come across such an endearing smell. I would definitely say this is an autumn/winter fragrant and as I am awful at describing perfumes and their “notes”, I would recommend anyone to pop to a Liz Earle concession and give this a smell. I have heard this perfume be likened to Viktor and Rolf’s Spicebomb, but after smelling both I definitely think the L.E. perfume is nicer! Overall 10/10 Would I buy again? YES! & Other Stories Body Lotion in Moroccan Tea The first time I had ever been to an & Other Stories store was this year in February and everything about the brand blew me away!   Ojon Damage Reverse Shampoo & Conditioner In November, John Lewis (and basically every store which stocks Ojon) held an event in which you could trade in a bottle of any brand shampoo or conditioner and you’d receive this duo for free, I think it was to promote the recycling of plastic… can’t really remember! Baring in mind this would set you back around £41 at its RRP, I was thrilled! I’d previously seen a few beauty bloggers rave about Ojon products which made me want to try some myself, so I made sure I got to the store rather early to pick up my freebies. For the first few uses, my hair genuinely felt different. It became much more slick and easy to manage and as I previously used a lot of heat, it seemed to work wonders on the ends of my hair. But, after using them as my every-other-day shampoo and conditioning products, I started to notice my hair feeling dryer and I felt like my hair was becoming immune to the restoring properties promised by the product.
