My Skincare Routine!
Everyday Skincare Routine
From watching beauty gurus on YouTube for years, I came across many positive, raving reviews of Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I caved in and decided to purchase this product myself a couple of weeks ago. I bought the 100ml pump starter kit for £14.25 (and P&P was around £3) which comes in a handy zip-up pouch with 2 muslin cloths (basically unbleached cloths) and a 50ml sample of their Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, which is £12.50 for a 200ml bottle.
The cleanser has definitely earned a firm place in my skincare routine, I love the fact that you can put it all over your closed eyes to completely remove make-up, as it contains no harsh ingredients which could harm them, and then you easily wipe it off with a damp muslin cloth. I do also like the toner but after the sample is used up, I am going straight back to my beloved Witch Hazel, which I have been a fan of for years, and costs just £2.15 from Lloyds Pharmacy for 200ml. As I have quite normal skin, I'm not sure if the Witch Hazel is for everyone. I think I'd recommend it for oily skin as after I have used it, it leaves some areas of my face feeling quite dry.
The last product I use, which definitely restores all moisture after I have used the toner, is Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion. The 50ml lotion costs £17, which I haven't bought yet, as every time I purchase something from Clinique I ask if they have any samples and they always seem to give me this moisturiser (not that I'm complaining!).
