And the world’s most inconsistent “blogger” award goes to… So lately I have not blogged as much as I’d hoped, and I have no excuses apart from pure laziness and lack of inspiration to do so. But… this month is the month I seem to have been buying quite a lot of things I have wanted for agesss. I’m not sure why this is, I think I just got a little bit too click happy with the “add to basket” button and bought a few things from Boots/John Lewis which I have wanted to try. Starting with Boots… Soap & Glory’s “One Heck of a Blot” £12 I’m a big fan of using translucent face powders to set makeup in my t-zone and run underneath my eyes to try and prevent smudges ever since using the Rimmel “Stay Matte” powder which I came to an end of. I decided to try another brand and I’ve heard good things about this one. SPA H2O Sea Salt Skin Smoother – From M&S range – 340g (part of a set) – £20 for 680g I’ve really enjoyed using this exfoliator as I find most of the time exfoliators seem to have a low salt consistency which leaves skin feeling oily rather than exfoliated (not sure if I’ve worded this right, but it is something than annoys me when I use exfoliators such as Soap & Glory’s Breakfast Scrub), and this product seems to be mainly salt with just a little bit of oil so it’s easy to massage into the skin. I wouldn’t recommend this product for those who have sensitive skin at all as the salt can feel really harsh, and I also would recommend just using hands for application rather than an exfoliating glove as the product itself does all the work and doing so could leave skin feeling quite sore and cause a rash when using moisturiser afterwards.
