Empties November 2014!

Liz Earle Botanical Essence Eau De Parfum no.15 After receiving a sample of this perfume with my purchase of the Cleanse and Polish I knew I had to purchase the full size 50ml version, as I had never come across such an endearing smell. I would definitely say this is an autumn/winter fragrant and as I am awful at describing perfumes and their “notes”, I would recommend anyone to pop to a Liz Earle concession and give this a smell. I have heard this perfume be likened to Viktor and Rolf’s Spicebomb, but after smelling both I definitely think the L.E. perfume is nicer! Overall 10/10 Would I buy again? YES! & Other Stories Body Lotion in Moroccan Tea The first time I had ever been to an & Other Stories store was this year in February and everything about the brand blew me away! I am in love with their accessories, clothing and beauty range! I originally came across a soap bar of this Moroccan Tea scent in the store and as I was about to purchase it I noticed the b...

Spring Wishlist

So... apparently it's now Spring. You wouldn't think it by the arctic conditions facing us in the UK right now, but still, there's no harm in lusting over the colours, prints and fashion that Spring stock has to offer.    Jeffrey Campbell Cut Out Shoes As soon as I saw these shoes I fell a little bit in love. The lace up patent leather lining with gold hardware makes them look very old fashioned, but then the cut out heel brings a very modern edge. Just admiring images of them online will have to do for now. Kate Spade bracelets If I had to choose a favourite designer, it would be Kate Spade, although I am yet to own anything. As soon as I saw a gorgeous Kate Spade bag on instagram I have been hooked. I just think all the designs are a perfect mix between being quirky and girly. I adore the use of bows/...

REVIEW! The Body Shop's BB Cream

I think "the one" has finally been found. During the day, I find foundations too heavy and "cakey" for my skin, as although I complain about my complexion a lot, I do have pretty good skin which tends to behave most of the time. I prefer using BB creams for a light to medium coverage as I find they are less clogging of my pores so the vicious cycle of 'pore-clogging -> spots -> apply more foundation -> pore-clogging -> spots' never really occurs and they are hydrating enough for me not to have to apply a moisturiser beforehand. I must have tried about six BB creams so far in the past year from various brands and I haven't been majorly impressed, then I spotted this little wonder in The Body Shop. I picked up shade 01 in their Colour-Adapting Tinted Cream for £12 last week and I am amazed every single time I use it. The cream comes out white, which at first I found a bit strange but thankfully when it is worked into the skin the...
