Skincare Routine

Starting with the morning, as I tend to not wear foundation in the daytime, but need other products such as my concealer to blend onto my skin nicely, I make sure I always use a moisturiser with an SPF of at least 30, regardless of the time of year. This is important when using the Alpha H Liquid Gold, as the active ingredients make skin much more sensitive to any rays and more likely to contract sunburn. The moisturiser I opt for is Elizabeth Arden's Flawless Future Moisture Cream which I find very lightweight and soothing on the skin. Throughout the day if my lips feel dry I apply the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant to them, as learnt from Gabbie Lindley from VelvetGh0st, which makes lips feel moisturised and have a nice sheen to them. If I'm heading out in the evening and want to wear a drying, matte lipstick I will feel like they are primed and smooth enough to do so. I try to make sure that I don’t use them more than once a week as I am worried that my hair will get used to them and I often take breaks between repurchasing them as I know once I use it in my hair again, I will feel the effects more intensely. The added benefit is definitely the hair growth – if you’re in the market for a product to do this them make sure you purchase a set as I have tried many products claiming to stimulate

Dear Santa… Pixi Glow Tonic 250ml £18 http://www.marksandspencer.com/glow-tonic-250ml/p/p22424632?&pdpredirect Who doesn’t need an extra glow in this awful weather? I have heard raving reviews about this cult product but for some reason I’ve never picked a bottle up, although they handily stock the Pixi range in Marks and Spencer in the UK. They also sell a cute giftable 100ml for £10 in their Christmas range. (If you’re quick and spend over £35 you may also be eligible to get their advent calendar for £35 too! So total spend is £70 to pick one up, and they are worth over £200) Kate Spade One in a Million “J” Necklace £50 http://www.selfridges.com/GB/en/cat/kate-spade-new-york-one-in-a-million-j-12ct-gold-plated-pendant_133-3003424-WBRU7652/ I love this dainty necklace from Kate Spade and its personal touch of having an initial in the middle as this will look lovely with lower cut necklines on tops and dresses, and if you want to go all High School Musical
