A few things I have my eye on for the upcoming season...
Camel Midi Coat

You definitely can't go wrong with one of these coats which are seen in almost every high street store at the moment! They are a classic and can be worn with almost any colour underneath and keeps your entire body snug.
Burgundy Lipstick

I'm becoming rather obsessed with burgundy at the moment and dark lipsticks are definitely a winner for winter!

I seem to be the owner of only boxy bags at the moment and as much as I love them, on the congested street 8:30am walk to university I am fed up of getting in the way of people. To me, this is almost the perfect slouchy bag. *Almost* due to the fact that it is 100% Polyester and although you can see they are wanting to create a cruelty free product, it's easy to pick up an 100% Polyester bag from the likes of Primark, for about 1% of the price. I am patiently waiting for the high street to catch on to this hobo-slouched, faux leather, chain rimmed trend!
Suede Gloves

An important accessory for winter is definitely gloves, especially those with "smart glove" technology, so you don't have to keep peeling them off every time you wish to use your touch screen phone/tablet. I love this pair from Accessorize as the zip gives them an androgynous, biker chick vibe.

It seems Dogtooth is giving Tartan a run for its money this season. As the weather draws colder we seem to think all things red and blue, but dogtooth is being seen everywhere on the highstreet, and there's nothing better to keep you warm inside or outside in the cold crisp weather than a big cosy blanket scarf which can be doubled up as a cape!
Black Roll Neck

Roll necks are an absolute staple for AW14. Although some may see these as a item of clothing made iconic by the late (and awesome) Steve Jobs, they can be dressed up easily with a simple pendant or a statement necklace to create a classy ensemble. Also, for days when you can't be bothered to mess around with wearing a scarf, these will stop your neck from getting chilly.

I adore this black quilted strap watch by Kate Spade, watches with a big face are such a trendy yet useful accessory and when there's minimal detail on the face they look really classy.
Burgundy Midi Skirt

In terms of skirts, the pastel pleated midi of SS14 has been replaced by darks shades of burgundy. This colour can look rather gothic and classy on nights out when paired with a black cropped top and heels. This PU midi from Topshop is ideal for this weather as the structured material makes the garment warmer and harder to blow up when caught by a sudden gust of wind, which is ideal for the rushed sprint to the bar you're meeting your friends at when you're "fashionably late"...
